What a business. I was out of the field 2 weeks in February because of illness, yet I’ve had my best RRSP season income. How is this possible ? The short answer is I am a woman. Failure is not an option. The words "I cant do this” do not apply to me. But let’s come back to that in a minute. Make no mistake about it, I’ve put in my time. I’ve worked really hard nurturing relationships, planting the seeds of trust, positioning myself as the individual who cares about family’s financial future.

Covid has created a very challenging and extremely difficult environment. So when people were hit and had questions and concerns about their finances, they came to me. They remembered that I cared about their family’s financial stability.

I am passionate about what I do and I believe I can help. This business is not about individual stars, it is about the strength of a team. Many teammates planted their own seeds in their communities and worked hard in cultivating their own connections. When the time came, they were ready to apply what they have been learning.

The training and support we have had from our leaders Bobby and Candy and my RVP Kim Mustapha has been instrumental in preparing us for the pandemic circumstances. Today, we celebrate and honour women, over 90% of my team are women. When someone slams the door in our face, we know that near by, there is a window and we will find it. I am proud to be part of the Legacy Builders team, I am proud of the work we do for families, I am proud of the difference we make in people lives.

But most of all, I am proud to be a woman.
