You CAN have it all!

When I joined Primerica I had a 2 year old and 10 month old. I didn’t want them going to daycare- but I needed to make money. My dad invited me to a Meeting and I said, “Ok, let me give it a shot”. All I wanted was $1500/month. This would enable me to stay home- be a hands-on Mother and bring in an income so that my husband wouldn’t be burdened with all the expenses.

A woman once told me, “You can’t have it all! You’re going to have to choose; Career or Mother.” Thank God for Primerica! Because of this company I was able to choose both. The common misconception is that being an entrepreneur requires an obsessive nature with a solo-hustle mentality. When I joined Primerica they told me I could work at my own pace. They gave me all the support, tools and mentorship I needed to build a business. I learned the Ins and Outs of the financial system and the rules of money so that I could better equip other women to WIN at the money game! Many women find it difficult to navigate through this very unfamiliar territory. Financial services scared me! I had no background in this space. I was in debt and thought, “WHO WOULD LISTEN TO ME?” – But the support that Primerica has in place to help those like myself- those who felt intimidated by the industry- those who saw the imbalance of a highly male dominated field- those who just didn’t know if they were good enough to WIN here- Primerica took care of all those doubts for me by having strategic systems in place to assist in my journey to Financial Freedom!

Primerica’s unique edge is that they hire and train those who have a burning desire to be somebody- and that was ME! I knew that I had a place here at Primerica! I knew that my gender didn’t matter- the fact that I was a mother (of Now 4) didn’t hinder my worth, in fact it enhanced it! I was able to relate and give other women a chance at Financial Freedom-by owning their own business. Primerica promised me that as long as I was willing to work hard, make some adjustments and Never, ever give up- I could be an important asset to this company and change a lot of lives.

Today I am a Vice President and I make over six-figures and continue to build my business in search of others who want total financial freedom, through business ownership! I am a member of the prestigious Women’s Advisory Group and the recipient of the 2019 Frances Averett Leadership Award In Canada. All while never missing a baseball game, a ballet recital or a parent teacher conference. But most importantly, to my children, I am an actual and tangible example of what it looks like to chase your dreams!

My whole life I’ve wanted to be somebody, and Thank God Primerica has given me a seat at their table to do so! They didn’t care about my background, my gender or my experience. They gave me a jersey and showed me the field…the rest is up to me!
