Changing People's Lives for the Better!

In 2000, I was introduced to Primerica through an ad for a complimentary Financial Needs Analysis. I was a stay-at-home mother of 2, swimming in debt and wondering if there was a way out. My husband and I had made the conscious decision to have me quit working so I could be home with our children but not having that second income was truly impacting us. When the representative from Primerica came to our home and showed us how we could save $1600 a month on our debt, save money for our retirement and have the right life insurance, let’s just say that we jumped in with both feet, followed the financial plan that was created just for us, and it literally changed our future.

I had never thought about a career in financial services, but once I saw the difference that we make for families, I could not ignore the calling to help others and to have a business where I could feel proud of what I was doing. Having the freedom and flexibility to be able to be home for my children, without daycare or babysitters, while working the business, was a dream come true. I was able to work when they were napping and eventually in school, but also be home when the school bus arrived to help them with homework and be present for them. That was the icing on the cake for me. Earning $50,000 a year working 15-20 hours a week and being able to raise my children.

In June of 2006 my husband and I separated and I knew that I needed to make a full-time income and decided to push toward my Regional Vice President promotion. In December I earned that promotion and within 8 months also earned my $100,000 Power Builder Ring. There are not many opportunities out there where you can increase your income by $50,000 in 8 months if you decide. Incredible!!

I have been so fortunate to have great coaches and friends in Primerica, because you are in a business FOR yourself but not BY yourself. I have had plenty of help and encouragement along the way, and believe me I sure needed it. I did not come from a financial or business background so I was intimidated to say the least. I even had several mentors that had no financial gain by coaching me. By learning what they taught me, I was able to build a great team and have subsequently promoted 2 Regional Vice Presidents who earn $100,000 and $200,000 per year, respectively. Another dream come true is having my son in the business, part-time alongside me. This company really does deliver when you put in the effort, work on self-development, and are coachable to the system.

My focus now is on full ownership and my $300,000 milestone. I can only accomplish this by assisting my team to achieve their own income goals and by growing my own personal directs. I know that there are so many motivated people out there who are struggling financially and looking for an opportunity, just like I was. They just need a game-plan and something to believe in again.

I am excited about what my team and I will accomplish in 2022. Especially with the use of Zoom, and with no territory boundaries or distance issues, the possibilities are endless and it can be as big as you dream it.
