Believe in Yourself!

It has been a real honour to be coached by Bobby and Candy Gocool, two of the most tenacious leaders and coaches in all of Primerica. Huge thanks to them for their impeccable leadership and continued belief in us.

My gratitude goes out to Annie and Andrew Gosai for bringing me into this amazing business. It was under their tutelage, I realized this is more than just business; it’s about correcting an injustice and doing what’s right for families.

When we got started in Primerica, I already had a full-time accounting job from 8-5 and a part time accounting job from 6-11, including a tax business which I ran on the weekends. What attracted me at the time was the opportunity to earn an additional $2,000 per month in Primerica which would replace the income from my part time job. I was excited about the fact that we could earn more within a shorter time and possibly enjoy a better quality of life with OUR family.

Looking back, I have earned an average of $1,500-$2,000 per month while I was part time and was able to keep my full-time job as an accountant, until 2014. In May of that year, I was laid off without notice, from my employer. This was a tough blow at the time, but I later realized that it was a blessing in disguise, because I had the time to focus on building my Primerica business.

I took the opportunity of coming full time in Primerica in June 2014. Was I a little scared? Yes! But my incredible coaches, Bobby and Candy, advised me to stay focus and showed me a game plan to replace what I was earning on my full-time job.

I stayed coachable and plugged in to every Opportunity Night, Super Saturday training, Fast Start School, Convention, etc. I am always excited to win a pen, bag or a T-shirt. I realized that little wins compounded into bigger victories by me staying consistent. With absolute belief in myself, a made-up mind, and God by my side, there is nothing that can stop our success!

We qualified for our Power Builder Watch in October 2019 and crossed the $100,000 Milestone in December 2021. I just want you know that we are just getting started. I said to my team that, “If I can do it, you can do it”. I encourage everyone, that whatever your goals are, don’t ever give up. Go the extra mile, have faith in God, believe in yourself one more time and Just Do It, no matter what comes in your way!

Our focus moving forward in 2022 is to grow our recruiting numbers and produce at least 30 licensed representatives before the Atlanta Convention.

The Legacy Builders has some of the best leaders in Canadian business and all of Primerica. They are always encouraging and pushing us to the next level. The Legacy Builders provide a positive and uplifting environment which is the most conducive to our personal growth.

I could not think of a better place to build a business and a life, where you are in control of your future. Just imagine, you could have the opportunity to style your life the way you want…!
