It Doesn’t Matter

Getting paid $98,000 in 30 days has been incredible.

The most common question has been: How does it feel?

Well, let us tell you what we didn’t feel…

Dread. We did not dread that we might later need some of the $25,000 we put aside to pay our taxes.

Worry. Over this past Thanksgiving weekend, we flew up to Thunder Bay to visit Shyrose’s family. We rented a SUV and ended up getting a HUGE fully loaded Ford Expedition… V8… it comfortably seated 8 with room for luggage.

We did not worry about how much it would cost us in fuel… and we drove All. Over. The Place. while we were up there.

That was fun.

Anxiety. During our visit, we took Shyrose's entire family out for breakfast at the nicest hotel in town (we got a table right up against the windows that looked over Lake Superior)… and we were not anxious about how much it would cost or if the kids ordered multiple entrées or if our credit card would have enough room to cover the bill.

Fear. We didn’t fear when we put $63,000 into our mutual funds that we would might the money back sometime soon… I’ve repeated this concern twice — I think this was a big one for me. In the early days, I was afraid to save money because it felt like we’d need it.

So today… it doesn’t matter anymore.

It doesn’t matter if it breaks, we can just get it fixed.

It doesn’t matter if it stops working, we can just get a new one.

It doesn’t matter if we turn the thermostat a bit higher.

It doesn’t matter if the kids forget the lights on.

It doesn’t matter anymore if Shyrose wants to buy expensive organic produce.

It just doesn’t matter!

In many ways, we’ve gotten the security and the comforts that we craved when first started.

What drives us today… what’s really exciting to us, is to travel to Banff with Murtaza & Shenaz Chevel and then for them to cross over the $50,000 mark as Division Leaders!

Now THAT’s Exciting!

To learn that people in our base have paid off ALL their credit card debt with their PRI income…
