Our Journey is Just Getting Started...

Thank you Bobby and Candy for giving me the opportunity to share my story. My name is Raj Patel, and my wife is Asha. I came to Canada in April of 2007 as an International student. I did a 2 year business admin program with centennial college. I then received my immigration papers in December 2011.

Between 2007 and 2012, I worked in the fast food chain as a store manager in different regions, which allowed me to develop my communication and people skills.

I set my goal to become either a Toronto Police Officer or Toronto Transit Operator with the sole reason being that it pays over $100k annually. To achieve this goal, I pursued my love of martial arts to get my black belt. This allowed for easier entrance into the police force. I then got a job as a transit operator in 2015 with the help of my customer service experience in Toronto.

During this same month, I got a LLQP licence from WFG. I achieved a licence from my friend in the first year but due to a lack of understanding, I did not do any business. However, I then met Nirav Shukla in November of 2018. He explained the opportunity of Primerica to me and I liked the concept. I started my journey with the company by buying life insurance, starting an RRSP and a TFSA.

So far with Primerica, I have won three trips (the Bahamas, the Rocky Mountains and Universal Studio.) From these trips, I truly saw the opportunity in Primerica. I saw how hard people work and I received a mind-changing experience in the Bahamas. From that day, I promised I would be on stage and get recognized. So far, I am succeeding and working towards more goals. Everyday, I enjoy my journey with Primerica.
